1st set of skill lessons from his coach
Jeremy had his first little league practice today with the Twins and even though mommy and Mabel were under the weather, we went as a family to support our little Jbird! He is the YOUNGEST by a few months. The cut off is April 30 so he's the only 4 year old, there are a couple of 5 1/2 year olds and then 6 and 7 year olds. It's amazing watching the difference in skill level between J and 7 year olds. He has a really good coach (so we've heard) and we think he will learn a lot from not only the coach but watching the older players. That's part of the reason we signed him up for Little League as compared to tball so he could play without a tee and with older boys.
Jbird in the outfield during the mini game. He cut off a ball and threw it to the 2nd baseman!
Waiting in the dugout for his turn at bat
Jbird at bat. He actually hit the ball towards 3rd base but it fouled out.
The coaches pitch to the kids and can be in the outfield during the game so we think that will really help Jeremy learn the game.
Next up, oil up his glove so he can catch the balls easier. Nothing like a little oil and baking a glove in the oven.
The glove is ready to go and Jeremy's uniform is ALMOST complete. He will get his cap on picture day before his first game.

I need help from you learning about the importance of team sports...Olivia is having a hard time embracing soccer this season. I am caught off guard since she was so into it just a few months ago...
He looks so happy!
JP - Give it time =) Only her first season, right? She'll be ready for Freedom soon enough..
