Fishy the goldfish

Jeremy has his first pet!!!! A lovely little goldfish he's named "Fishy". He loves looking at him and wanted to eat lunch next to him. I'm sure he will forget all about his new friend in a couple days and poor mom will be left to take care of him!

Supporting Role as a Dalmation

Every fireman needs his dalmation right? Here is Fireman Jeremy's "doggie"! She had no choice about the costume and Jeremy warmed up to his after some convincing so I will try and get a picture of both of them closer to Halloween. Jeremy kept kissing her all night saying, "hi doggie"! It was pretty cute but not as cute as her!

Goodnight Boys

So listen carefully! The boys slept in the same room while we were there and every night was classic. They would talk, Beck would put toys in J's pack n' play and Beck even helped Jeremy get out one morning. We tried to record it but our camera's memory card ran out. Anyway, this is one night that Jeremy wanted to go to another room with mommy and Beck keeps asking him why. Jeremy asks for the stool at one point (escape attempt maybe) and then Beck asks Jeremy if he wants to change his mind. SO cute!

Fun Times in Chicago

We went to pumpkin patch with pig races, petting zoo (a giraffe, baby lions, cows, lemur and so many more animals that they fed with spoons), pony rides, camel rides...apples and lots of good food. J loved it while Amelia slept through the whole experience. Jeremy loved spending time with his cousins, aunt Megan, uncle Jeremy and Grandmommy playing outside and running crazy around the house. Amelia and Nellie were too cute! Here are some pics!

Flight to Chicago

I couldn't have asked for better kids on the flight!!!!! Potty training is interesting while traveling! As soon as I had his shoes off, everything broken down for security he had to pee!!!!! Anyway, here is a quick video during our flight!

Potty Training.....

So, J is almost potty trained! As of Wednesday, he has been wearing "big boy" underpants and LOVES THEM! We had 2 accidents on Wednesday, 2 on Thursday (both poop only) and none since then. Well, pee that is. He had a poop accident yesterday but we were told that takes a lot longer so no worries. He even held it for a couple hours while playing outside with his dad (daddy forgot to ask him if he had to go) and finally told daddy himself that he had to pee. He has even woken up from naps with a dry diaper! It was an exciting time when Ryan and I went to Costco yesterday and DIDN'T have to buy diapers! YAHOO!!!!! We will work on the poop now! Here are some pics from our playdate with Jack on Friday. We're hoping it becomes a social peeing thing and tell his friend's that "everybody's doing it"! Oh yeah, J wanted to take a nap in "big boy" underwear so we will see what happens. I will report soon....

Pumpkin Patch

Ryan took J to the pumpkin patch while I coached a tournament in Santa Barbara this weekend. Looks like everyone had a good time!

Amelia tried eating for the first time today! Ummm....it didn't go so well, but she started to get the hang of it!

Meinhardt Boxing Ring!

Amelia had her 4month check up today and J has his 2 1/2 year (a month early) check up! In the blue corner, J weighed in at a whopping 32 lbs 10 oz (between 75-90%) and 37 1/4 inches (also between 75-90%). In the pink corner, Amelia weighed in at 13 lbs 11 oz (50%) and 24 1/4 inches (50%). Amelia got 5 shots and J snuck out without one! He was all ready for a shot and said, "after shot, I get stickers?" He has to go back for a flu shot in a week so I will prep him for that next week! I dosed A up with Tylenol and she was out for the count. TKO goes to the Blue corner! :)
