DRALL Picnic 2013 - Go Red Sox

Jbird finished his 3rd baseball season and everyone was a little tired from the late night before but Jeremy had a blast and that's all that matters.  Once again, pop up tents went up, taco guys were cooking tacos, water guns were filled and there were little happy kids everywhere.  Well, not our girls who went to bed at 10pm last night but a couple cupcakes held off the tears for awhile.

Happy 5th Birthday Amelia Bedelia/2013 Kenyon Block Party

Holy moly, I can't believe she's 5!  Time is flying.  As usual, a "first thing in the morning" picture.

Sibling hug.  I love having these kiddos.  3 is out magic number that's for sure!

Everyone helping with presents

Amelia's new Hello Kitty bike

Annie made these super cute Hello Kitty themed box!

Happy Birthday!

Once again, I was in charge of the block party so we celebrated Amelia's birthday and hung out with our neighbors ALL day!

In case this is surprising, her party was a Hello Kitty themed (barely) and decorate your bike party!

Definitely Daddy's little girl

Pinata time

CANDY!

Amelia wanted to have a rice krispie treat tower.  Ask and you shall receive....

She had her Kinder readiness test, got a Hello Kitty back pack as a present so she's ready for Kindergarten.  I can't believe she's starting in the fall.  Hope you enjoyed your day little girl.  You deserved a day for you.  Love you!

The block party continued into the night.  We had a band, BBQ, dancing, friends and lots of drinks.  I put the camera down so there are no pictures from here on out.  :)

Celebrating 7 years of sweetness

Jbird is into Avatar, the last airbender and so that's what we did for his party!  Try to plan a party about a show that aired from 2005-2009.  There's nothing out there so I had to get creative.  It's a show about the 4 nations; air, water, earth and fire and Aang...the avatar.
The cake may look like a dog but it's a flying white bison.  It actually looks like a dog as well so I wasn't too far off :)

I hired a company who sends two characters dressed up as two characters from Avatar.  Here are the kids learning some "earth, air, water and fire bending" skills.

This one is air bending.  I love all their faces, hands and effort!

At the end, the characters lead the kids on a treasure hunt.

The treasure were the party favors

Jeremy had to show the "bending" skills he learned in order to open the treasure.

He received Avatar's medallion and wore it the rest of the day!

All of our "benders"

Happy Birthday buddy!  Hope you had a good day!  You deserve it.  Love you

Happy 7th Birthday Jeremy!

This is how we found our birthday boy this morning!  Already having a party with his sisters and his best buddy Matthew who spent the night.  We heard giggling, the little pitter patter of feet running from the girl's room to J's room and doors opening and closing by about 6:15.  It didn't help that mommy and daddy stayed up until 1am with some friends!  Yikes!

They decided to open presents right on the kitchen floor :)  He requested powdered donuts for breakfast and he got just that!

Mabel couldn't wait for him to open that present for some reason and as you can tell from Amelia's face...she was thrilled J's birthday was finally here.  Maybe because she knows she's next :)

Next up, Little League Day at Dodger Stadium!  They got to walk the field and I made it just in time to see them!

A special message....

in case you couldn't see in the above picture....

We met Oma, Opa and the girls at home and then headed to Tower Pizza to celebrate with Aunt Windy, Uncle Christian and Kira!  I think he had a GREAT day!

Happy birthday to our sweet, crazy, hungry and growing boy!  We love you so much!
