Amelia tried eating for the first time today! Ummm....it didn't go so well, but she started to get the hang of it!

She also chews on her hands 24/7. Maybe she'll get a tooth and roll over at the same time!

Meinhardt Boxing Ring!

Amelia had her 4month check up today and J has his 2 1/2 year (a month early) check up! In the blue corner, J weighed in at a whopping 32 lbs 10 oz (between 75-90%) and 37 1/4 inches (also between 75-90%). In the pink corner, Amelia weighed in at 13 lbs 11 oz (50%) and 24 1/4 inches (50%). Amelia got 5 shots and J snuck out without one! He was all ready for a shot and said, "after shot, I get stickers?" He has to go back for a flu shot in a week so I will prep him for that next week! I dosed A up with Tylenol and she was out for the count. TKO goes to the Blue corner! :)

It is finally DONE! Jacqui painted a tree on canvas' and hung it in A's room when she got here! How AMAZING does this look?

Jacqui & Jett's Visit

Jacqui and Jett came to town today for Jess' baby shower. Can you say crowded?!?! Nothing like 3 car seats in a row and ALL 3 bedrooms in our house used for naps! Jeremy LOVES Jett and always asked where he went when he was napping. Here are a couple pics!

Jess' Baby Shower

I threw my best friend Jess a baby shower this weekend and it was a blast! I took Amelia with me to San Diego along with Jacqui and Jett and J stayed here with Ryan. It was a fun weekend!

Bumbo Girl

She is almost 4 months old and getting bigger by the minute. She has her 4 month Dr. visit in a week so I will be sure to update on her weight/length. Here is our little girl!

Halloween Costume Shopping

We went to get J a costume and there was nothing there that excited him! I think we will get something online. He wouldn't let us put him down because there were motion censored scary people and they freaked him out. No crying, just a death grip on us. One of the guys working there had a REAL python. Ryan held it and J wanted nothing to do with it. When the guy offered the snake to Ryan, Ryan didn't even think twice and held it. YIKES! This picture is terrible but you can kind of see the scene...BIG snake, LITTLE kid scared to death!

Sunday Morning

They sat on the couch together and watch Sesame Street! Jeremy was very helpful and kept putting that toy in her hand!

Horse Rides

We went to ride the ponies today at a local pet store and this is about how much Jeremy had to do with them. He LOVED watching them drink water and chew on the water bucket but didn't get close to them. Very apprehensive!

Playmates

I found Jeremy lying unerneath her play gym this morning. I ran to get the camera and got there a minute too late. He was on his way out. He was happier sitting next to her! Ryan finally gets back from NY tomorrow night...only 9 days later :( We are all very excited to see him and be together again!

Cool Pez Man!

Jeremy got his first Pez candy toy and some cool shades from his grandmommy! Lucky kid! He ate all of the candy in minutes and has been asking for more ever since!

King Jeremy

Jeremy made this hat today at school!!! The teacher said he is doing VERY well and listens"extremely" well for his age and then said I am doing a good job at home! Always makes you feel good when you really have no idea how to be a mom :)

She's a talker!

Old Friends, Good Times

I met up with some girlfriends I have not seen since we were in grade school and high school! We had drinks and dinner at El Cholo in Santa Monica! It was like it was about 15 years ago plus a few marriages, 2 kids (I'm the only one with kids) and alcohol!

Jeremy was very happy to see his mom and dad when we got back from Hawaii! He went to a Dodger game tonight with Ryan so I will post pictures when I get them! Here is Amelia waking up from her nap! Lots of happy faces around here!

Maui, Day 4

The rehearsal dinner was fun and the location was even better. This is also the place they're getting married tonight. We just walked around and enjoyed the views, ate delicious food and enjoyed good company. Ryan and I just got back from a walk along the ocean and had a yummy breakfast. Pancakes with Macadamia nuts! Ummmm.....We're hanging out by the pool today and then we will get ready for the wedding. Here are the views from the wedding location, Ryan and I and the boys from Hermosa!

Maui, Day 3

We went to the luau last night and the setting was unreal. It was good food, good company and a lot to look at. The sunset was beautiful so we took a lot of pictures! Here are a few. We spent all day today by the pool relaxing and enjoying all the people here for the wedding. Ryan loves the water slides at the hotel so I don't see much of him but I am hanging with the girls and getting some much needed relaxation. We are off to the rehearsal dinner which is taking place at Randy Travis' house. In case you don't know who that is...he's a country music singer. Ryan went with the groom there today to help set up a little and he said it was unbelievable. I will take pictures and post them tomorrow. Tomorrow is our last full day here :(, but also excited to see Jeremy and Amelia!
