Happy Birthday to me!

I had a fun day with lots of treats and all my friends came over.  My daddy even came home early from work to hang out with me.  I love my mom, dad and big brother!

Happy 1st Birthday Amelia Bedelia

Here is a video I put together of Amelia and her first year in the world! The first song is for her and Ryan and the second song, I chose. I took Amelia to Mamma Mia (her 1st movie) and this song was super cute when the mom and daughter were getting ready for the daughter's wedding. Anyway, cheezy but I loved the song and wanted it to remind me of our first mother/daughter outing!  p.s  the quality isn't great because it wouldn't take such a large file so I had to minimize it!

Weigh In

Jeremy and Amelia had their 1 and 3 year check up today and we've got two healthy kids!  Amelia weighed in at 20 1/2 lbs and Jeremy weighed in at an even 36 lbs!  He is 75% for height and weight and she is 50% for both.  Oh yeah, her head is 90% so she'll be a smart one ;)  This was the first time she actually played while we waited so needless to say, neither one of them wanted to go back when we were called!

New Shoes

Walking Amelia

So she's walking ALL over the place now and long enough for me to catch it on video!  Here is one of her walking with a toy (she's less sturdy when holding something) but you can see how good she's getting!  She will walk from her room to the kitchen without falling...it's crazy how last week I couldn't get a video and now she almost doesn't want to crawl!  We're back from our trip to Salt Lake and I have no posts to show for a fun trip.  We went to the zoo,  Georgie's birthday party, TONS of playtime with cousins and of course, lots of "treats" from Auntie Courtney and Auntie Jacqui!  I got a stomach bug the last day so I was out of commission yesterday when we got home but life is pretty much back to normal today.  Just need to unpack and get ready for Amelia's 1st birthday and then our departure for Chicago!   

Pigtails

Amelia has enough hair for pigtails!  I used clips for these but it looks super cute and she didn't mind me doing it.  I have to go get rubber bands so I can do them for real!  She's saying "YEAH mom!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Having a good day so far!  Slept in a little, Ryan made the family pancakes and we've been relaxing while Amelia takes her 1st nap!  Here are a couple cute pics from yesterday!  Jeremy played in his pool and Amelia got ALL wet and then tired so we relaxed together and watched Jeremy swim!

Amelia Bedelia Update...11 months old!!!!!

She's taking 4-5 steps at a time now.  I just can't get it on video.  I am trying very hard.  Will post with that soon.  Her 1st tooth is slowly coming in....you can kind of see it in the bottom picture so look hard.  We are so happy with our little girl and can't imagine our life without her!  She's a drama girl but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Passing time

Ryan left for India this morning so I passed time having a picnic on the front lawn and letting the kids play in the inch of water in the tray for the back of my car.  Who would have thought that would be so much fun?  

Chuck E Cheese

Jeremy had a great time at Chuck E Cheese playing games, eating cake and playing with his friends.  As another wise blogger said, Jeremy was not a fan of the "giant singing rat"!  :)  

Sully and Amelia

Welcome Home Opa

Opa got home from his big trip to Everest today and he was very happy to see everyone!  Jeremy and I painted a "welcome home" sign for him yesterday!  He had a little too much fun!  The L.A. based family (plus Natalie and Sully) were there to welcome him!
