Mommy watched my friend Jack and his brother for the afternoon and we had lots of fun!!!!!  We were all very thirsty by the end and mom needed a break so she put on an Einstein!

Milestones

Amelia is taking steps every day but I'm the only one who has seen it yet!  Her 1st tooth came through  (I noticed today) and I think she has picked her first word...."hi".  She says it when we go in to get Jeremy in the morning or after his nap.  She also said it to the dogs this morning.  I haven't been able to get steps or "hi" on video so here is a video of her fooling around!

Don't go to sleep big brother

When I put Jeremy down before Amelia, she bangs on his door and stares longingly at the knob!  I think she's hoping someone will open it so she can play with her brother! 

Happy Early Birthday Jbird!

Grandmommy wanted to give J his birthday present while she was here so we had a mini birthday for him.  As you can see, he LOVES his 1st big wheel and enjoyed the strawberries around his cupcake more than the actual cupcake :)  

Beach, Blanket, Bedelia

Amelia wore her bathing suit (and birthday suit) and swam in a super bitty baby pool!  She liked Jeremy's pool better!  

Spring Fun

Jeremy had his friend Jack over today for a swim date, picnic lunch and ladybug sightings (center picture but you can't see the lady bug)!  Good times were had by all!

Easter Bunny Cake

Grandmommy's mom used to make the bunny cake every year and now it's grandmommy's turn to keep the tradition going.  Jeremy LOVED helping!  

Easter Traditions

So, Grandmommy told us that as a child, she used to put her Easter basket out on the porch and was told the Easter Bunny would fill it while they were sleeping!  We thought that would be cute to start with Jeremy so here is a picture of the baskets before bed on Easter Eve and one of them full of fun things on Easter morning!  I added a tradition....put the dyed egss out for the Easter Bunny to take and hide!  I had Jeremy dictate the note!

He had a great time!!!!!!  He spent the most time decorating them with stickers and lining them up on the table!  Shocker!

Trouble

Someone likes to get into the fruit drawer and eat oranges.  She's trouble!

She's Getting So Big!!!!!!!

I know I post all the time but I feel like she grew up over night!  She was feeding herself strawberries this morning and she loved french fries from In N' Out!  She also discovered the walker today and is getting really good at it!

Here is a video of the kids playing outback yesterday!  I didn't catch Amelia laughing her head off when J would splash but it's still cute!

Anti-social Amelia

A psychic told me that my second child would be a girl and she would be less social than Jeremy.  She said, "she will be very happy and content reading a book in the corner, even if other kids are having fun"!  Well, Jeremy and his friend Jack were swimming in the kiddie pool and miss Amelia was happy as a clam in the garage playroom all by herself.  I love my sweet girl!

Long Beach Aquarium

Jeremy and I usually have a mommy and me class on Mondays so we can have some 1 on 1 time without Amelia climbing all over me.  School is on Spring Break so I kept the sitter for Amelia and took J to the Aquarium with his friends Emily and Jack!  Here are some pics!

Auntie Jacqui

Auntie Jacqui came to visit this weekend and she had to leave today!  Jeremy is still asking for her :(  Here is a cute pic of Jacqui and Amelia (the pic with J didn't turn out well).  I also took these pics of Ryan with the kids because it was UNREAL beautiful today.  We just got home from a nice long walk and put the kids to bed full of fresh air.  We're counting the days until Grandmommy comes to visit!  Only 4 more days!
